The Akron-Newstead Food Pantry is an independent pantry that operates out of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. We are humbled to serve community members that reside in the 14001 zip code or the Akron Central School District, which covers parts of Erie, Niagara and Genesee counties. This includes the Tonawanda Seneca Nation along with the Village of Akron, Town of Newstead and parts of the Town of Alden, Clarence, Royalton, Alabama and Pembroke. (See a map our coverage area.)

First-time Food Pantry clients: please complete the following application in the Downloads list below (we also have paper applications you can complete at your first Food Pantry visit).
Note: Only Akron-Newstead Food Pantry applications are accepted. No other applications, vouchers, slips or other documentation are accepted. While we are happy to connect those in need from outside the area to services in that area, we can only sustain serving community members within our own service area (see above). Thank you for understanding.
Also Note: we do not take clients that are receiving food from any other food pantry or food bank.
We also have a "Little Free Pantry" cupboard located in the church parking lot that contains some basics if you're in a pinch for an item to get by. Find out more...
